An update in short bursts:
The last twelve months have been hellacious.
Mother died, we moved to rural Georgia, already refinanced the new house, still haven't sold the mobile home in Florida. $$$$$.
Press is on hiatus. We've been tangled up with 2024 hurricanes, Mother's health issues, and the move for months and months.
The only thing I want to write is fanfic.
Paperwork, paperwork, paperwork, not enough done by me. Bless my wife, for I have sinned.
I have been in a permanent state of Can't Be Arsed where practical matters are concerned.
Slowly, I have begun addressing the long TBD list. This includes caring for my personal health issues, which have languished in non-benign neglect. It's going to be unpleasant at best.
Bless my in-laws, for their caring.
Bless my friends for their patience.
I'm still hanging in there.
